Ex-Anschutz exec's new business has deals with Pepsi Center, other arenas

Oak View Group, the new venture that former Anschutz Entertainment Group executive Tim Leiweke and superstar talent manager Irving Azoff formed to boost event and sponsorship revenue for sports facilities, now has deals in place with 22 arenas, including Denver's Pepsi Center.

Nine months after the launch, the majority of arenas forming an alliance with Oak View have signed contracts, Leiweke said. Others, such as Air Canada Centre in Toronto, are waiting until legal counsel approves those agreements.
