GAME 16: Rowdies Home Attendance Thread (10/22 vs. Ottawa Fury FC) (self.TampaBayRowdies)

Rachel Platten, amirite?!?

But seriously I was just talking to people the whole time during the concert. At Flo Rida, I was like, "Damn, how do I know so many Flo Rida songs?!?" This wasn't quite the same, but a nice gesture from the front office for the Adult Contemporary/Pop crowd. Maybe next year we'll get Slayer.

Anyway, on to attendance! We had 7,641 in the books for this one. The hill was full (I'm sure some people lost their lives on that hill that day.) We sit in the corner to the right of what was home plate...about 10-15 minutes into the match people were having a hard time finding a seat in GA and we had people standing in the aisle the rest of the match. (We actually had people sitting on the stairs in our section, as well.)

Below does a cumulative total and since we had one extra game this year, our total attendance growth was +14.1%. Our actual growth (average over average) was +4.0% (from 5,649 in 2015 to 5,878 in 2016). We've grown every single year of the Rowdies existence except for year 2. Pretty, pretty, pretty, pretty, pretty...good. Pretty good.

I'll throw up another one of these after the season ends to see how we stack up against everyone else when they all have their last games in the book. Looks like we'll finish 3rd in the attendance table unless Miami has a massive last home game this Friday.
