Into The Unknown: Where Will The Rowdies Finish In The Table? - A quick and easy statistical breakdown
Well Rowdies fans, it's coming down to the wire for our boys in green and gold. One game left to play in the regular season, but unfortunately, we do not control our own destiny.
There are five games that will affect the Rowdies playoff positioning in the table. They are as follows:

Taking these 5 games and the most result draw against Indy, the Rowdies have to rely on other results from these games in order to get the best playoff seeding. That said, this is the pure statistical breakdown of where the Rowdies are likely to finish. Please note: this does not take into account team strengths and/or form.

I would have said before last night that we probably have the edge on goal differential over LOU (us at +29 and LOU at +16). But unfortunately, they scored 8 goals on SPR at the last match ever at Slugger Field. Crazier things have happened before so I'm not counting them completely out.
Personal speculation: I think Indy handily defeats Swope, securing the 3rd seed for them. I also assume that our Rowdies will win against one of the worst teams in the league at Hartford. It really comes down to one of the Baby Bulls games ending in a draw (or even a loss would be better). If they drop points in one of their two remaining games, that will be the key to the Rowdies securing the 4th seed, and ultimately securing a home playoff match.
