by Paul Vegas

Former England coach Sam Allardyce is being linked with a move to MLS.

The former West Ham and Sunderland boss had his Three Lions rein cut short on Tuesday after just 67 days in the job and it's thought he is already eyeing a move to Major League Soccer.

A former colleague told the Daily Mirror: “If someone gave him an opportunity in the States he'd struggle to turn it down.

“And the way he feels right now I don't think he'd be too bothered about turning his back on England."

The 61-year-old played just 11 matches for the Tampa Bay Rowdies in the summer of 1983 but described his brief stint in the USA as a 'life changing experience'.

“Sam has spoken a lot about his time in Tampa," continued the source. “He loved it and it really opened his eyes.
