Sam Allardyce confident he can help Minnesota United break MLS rules

Allardyce's recent fallout with England's FA revealed skills that would fit perfectly in MLS, Long Throws reports.

Long Throws Reporting can exclusively confirm Sam Allardyce is a candidate to be Minnesota United FC’s first head coach in Major League Soccer, telling club officials, “there’s an amazing number of rules to break in the MLS, and I can’t wait to get started.”

Allardyce likened MLS’ byzantine set of rules, and his affinity for breaking them to, “being that German lad in that one movie, when that Wonka fella shows him that candy room. Brilliant.”

The biggest obstacle to Big Sam’s shock move? A continued belief that the fake job offered during a Telegraph sting may, in fact, be real.
