Taking Attendance 8/1/2016: Everybody I Have (Which Is Not Everybody There Is)

Nine of the NASL’s eleven teams are seeing a drop in average announced attendance in the fall season when compared to the spring campaign. Only Miami FC (up 17%) and Tampa Bay (up 15%) are showing gains from the apertura. Rayo OKC is off 22%, Indy is off 16% and Ottawa is off 10% in small samples. Overall the league averaged 5,071 in the spring and is at 4,725 for the fall.
