Foundry St. Louis hope to land bid for MLS team

(KTVI) - A new organization is kicking around the idea to bring Major League Soccer to St. Louis.  The organization Foundry St. Louis is aiming to submit a sealed bid to MLS for a team in St. Louis by 2020.

Right now the organization has about eight to ten major investors and four to five of them are St. Louis born and raised.

The Executive Director of Development for Foundry St. Louis describes the group as a grass roots organization with a lot of pride in St. Louis.

Foundry St. Louis says they have two potential spots picked out for a stadium.

They hope to announce them soon.
