The point where a hound literally pushed of a defender before flopping in the box aside. The Hounds played their best Lilly ball and harassed the Rowdies all night. Until..... Lucky! He's like a bigger version of Tejada and his goal showed how that pays dividends.
That said, I've found Guenzatti and whatever combo he's been given to be lacking this year. Lucky is a longtime known entity around here and he hasn't dissapointed in his few moments since his return. I think he deserves more time, and a few starts. Especially against opponents wanting to rough us up.
That pass by Poku and control by Lucky was top class. Both these guys deserve more time in these kinds of games where we have to break down the opposition.
Honorable mention to the production crew at Highmark for having a mic so close to Neil. His constant outbursts at the refs and frustration at the lack of ball boys made the game so much fun to watch.
Those outbursts were hilarious. (And the trains were awesome.)
Kind of amazing to be near the end of a match and be able to launch Poku and Lucky (and Steinbergers energy) on a tired defense.
Was a tough first half to watch, between the width of the pitch and Pittsburgh clogging the midfield, hoofing it on that turf didn't lead to much. Much better after they sat back with the lead.
The point at the end of the skewer is exactly what we have been missing. Someone to be on the end of EARLY balls into the box. Bravo.
