Columbus Crew SC studying potential demand for a new stadium

Not that anyone listens to me of course but if that new Crew stadium ever gets built they should put a full ETFE roof over it so they could play there year-round, regardless of the weather. Just sayin'.

Columbus Crew SC studying potential demand for a new stadium

The Columbus Crew SC are studying the possibility of building a new stadium, the MLS franchise confirmed on Monday.

The team's current home, MAPFRE Stadium, became the United States' first soccer-specific stadium when it opened in 1999.

However, the club have hired a consulting firm to help determine the potential demand for a new home, with a downtown location thought to be the desired destination.
