DELTAS’ HAPPY HOUR AT DANNY COYLES TONIGHT

NASL expansion club, the San Francisco Deltas, are hosting another of their Happy Hour events tonight in Lower Haight.

Members of the Deltas Operations team including CEO, Brian Andrés will be there to meet and greet fans. Halloween costumes are encouraged and a prize will be awarded for the best costume.

The first 50 people at the event taking place at Danny Coyles will get a complimentary beer courtesy of the Deltas.

The Deltas are scheduled to begin league play at Kezar Stadium in 2017, though the NASL landscape may have changed a bit by then, as the Tampa Bay Rowdies and the Ottawa Fury both announced this week, they’ll be moving to the United Soccer League (USL) for the 2017 season.

Danny Coyles has been a long-time San Francisco’s venue for watching soccer, and is home to several supporters clubs for soccer teams including the Seattle Sounders, Bayern Munich, Borussia Dortmund, Manchester United, and Tottenham Hotspur.

SFSFL HOSTS ANNUAL GALA NEXT WEEK

The San Francisco Soccer Football League (SFSFL) was established in 1902, two years before FIFA, and is the oldest soccer league continuously operating in the United States.

Next week at El Rancho Inn in Millbrae, they’ll host their annual post-season gala, celebrating the past year’s accomplishments.

The event, which includes dinner, entertainment, and more, follows the completion of the league’s 114th season, which saw one league’s earliest teams, Olympic Club (founded in 1916), crowned as champions.
