Bill Bratton To Join Leiweke's Oak View Group

America’s top cop is joining the Oak View Group. Earlier today, officials with OVG announced that former New York Police Commissioner and LA Police Chief Bill Bratton will help lead a new subsidiary called Prevent Advisors, “a consulting firm focused on implementing holistic security and counterterrorism solutions for the sports and entertainment facility industry,” according to a release from the company.

OVG recently announced the formation of its 22-facility Arena Alliance, with charter members that include Toronto’s Air Canada Center, Consol Energy Center in Pittsburgh, The Forum in Los Angeles, Golden 1 Credit Union Center in Sacramento and Madison Square Garden in New York.

Prevent Advisors was founded by former Special Forces military officers Chris Robinette and Ben Tolle, who both have over a decade of tactical experience in some of the world’s most challenging regions of conflict. Robinette will serve as Prevent Advisors CEO and Tolle as the company’s COO.

“We’re living in a vastly different world than we were even a decade ago and it’s critical that we as an industry do everything in our power to address the rapidly evolving threats we face,” said OVG Founder and CEO Tim Leiweke in a statement. “Chris and Ben’s expertise and network, along with that of Bill’s, gives Prevent Advisors an understanding of those challenges in a way our business has not yet experienced. Prevent Advisors is about giving facilities and retail districts an outlet for conversation, analysis, improvements and solutions, as well as implementation on how to stay ahead of the threat.”
